Growing up, I always loved Cosmic Ark on the Atari 2600 and thought it would have been cool to see a modernized take of this on the Jaguar.
I’ve created the groundwork for a base build that allows for asteroids to randomly shoot at the sides of the ship and you can shoot them off the screen. Need to implement up/down asteroids, counters, added asteroid variety and actual game progression.
Most of the backdrops are completed for use as well as the laser and ship to use. Would like to release this for the Jaguar CD with an upbeat techno soundtrack with roughly 10 rounds per level/backdrop for a total of 60. May be able to finish this sometime in 2019.
